Alright, it’s a sad day in France, but a happy day here. Let’s stay positive now, come on!
3 New Things I Am Grateful For
1. I am grateful for Alcohol. These days rum & coke zero is my drink of choice. Whatever the drink, it all makes ya feel good. Cheers to alcohol!
2. I am grateful for America. Things aren’t going to well on the other side of the globe. Thoughts and prayers go out to people in France. But I’m thankful everyday to have been born and raised in America.
‘Murica!
3. I am grateful for stocking hats. I live in Minnesota, and I live in a house that is constantly heated (or cooled) to a max of 65 degrees. I could not live without a fresh stock of these things in my arsenal.
In all seriousness, if someone knows where to get this hat, please let me know.
1 Positive Experience in the Past 24 Hours
First positive experience comes from my little chit-chat text conversation with my friends, Andy and Kellan. We had a fun chat session today, which we rarely do, even though we should more often.
My second positive experience was playing my favorite game tonight, Counter-Strike: Global Offense. I was playing with 4 other kids on my team. I say kids cause they were literally all 13-15 years old. They were freaking amazed that I was 34 years old! They were asking me questions the entire game about the “olden days”. Oh my goodness, it was one of the most fun games I’ve played in a while. I was laughing most of the game, and don’t even know what the score was. That was fun.

Exercise
Copying my exercise from yesterday, but adding a couple. 80 jumping jacks, 50 sit-ups, and 30 push ups today. I also threw in 30 jumping pull ups. Once again, it’s like a pull up, but you get to jump a little to help with it. Also I officially joined the YMCA gym once again. So I went there tonight with my wife and son. Did 2 laps in the pool as well. And a couple laps in this vortex pool thingy. Anyway, did more than I usually do on a daily basis thus far.
Meditate
Still have not heard back from the meditation guru my friend recommended. I think he’s ignoring me. I’m going with my 15 minute attempt again.
